    About Our Client

    A dynamic senior living community with multiple activity centers seeks an energetic Activities Assistant to join their life enrichment team. This modern facility maintains an engaging social environment and has earned recognition for their innovative approach to resident activities.     Position Overview

    Role: Activities Assistant

    Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time positions

    Schedule: Various shifts including weekends and some evenings

    Salary Range: $28,000 - $35,000 annually, based on experience


    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and facilitate daily social and recreational activities
    • Implement programs for residents with varying abilities
    • Coordinate special events and outings
    • Maintain activity supplies and equipment
    • Document resident participation and engagement
    • Assist with transportation coordination
    • Create monthly activity calendars
    • Encourage resident participation
    • Support individual resident interests
    • Maintain clean and organized activity spaces


    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Clean background check and drug screening
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Physical ability to perform essential functions
    • Excellent communication abilities
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • First Aid and CPR certification
    • Ability to work flexible schedules


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience in senior activities
    • Experience in memory care programming
    • Event planning experience
    • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish)
    • Recreation or activities certification
